Miss Katia Sindali, who joined The McIndoe Centre in 2023, is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon and is on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for plastic surgery.
She graduated from King’s College, London, in 2006 and completed her surgical training in London and the South East. She was appointed as a specialty registrar in the Pan Thames deanery where she undertook her higher surgical training in plastic surgery.
As a registrar, she completed an International Master’s degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery (MSc).
At the end of her training, Miss Sindali completed two prestigious microsurgery fellowships at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in London and Queen Victoria Hospital. During this time, she gained a lot of experience in various reconstructive procedures, in particular microsurgical breast reconstruction. She also completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship at The McIndoe Centre and has been trained in all aspects of cosmetic surgery. She was awarded the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery or FRCS(Plast) as well as the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery fellowship.
Miss Sindali is passionate about education and training. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education for surgeons and is currently the surgical tutor at Queen Victoria Hospital, where she practices in the NHS.
